一首 " Psalm ", 單看歌詞 , 就知她回來了 , Anne Clark 10月發了大碟 "The Smallest Acts of Kindness" .

既是詩人又是歌者的Anne Clark , 將音樂與詩詞溶在一起 , 以spoken word 方式表演 , 一向令我著迷 . Anne的詩涉及宗教 , 人性, 政治 , 而且幽沉冷酷 , 有時又帶點朦朧抽象 , 這與techno, electronic及低音絃樂之配搭 , 簡直渾然天成 .

80年代芳華正茂的Anne就以"Sleeper in Metropolis" 和 "Our Darkness" 兩曲為人熟識 , 亦帶起實驗音樂及詩歌混合創作的風潮. 粉絲等了這張全新大碟足足十多年 , 年近五十的Anne沒有令人失望 , "Psalm" 宗教與神聖, "If" 質問世界面對的危機 , "As Soon As I Get Home" 和 "Know" 親情的歌詠 , "Waiting" 和 "The Hardest Heart" 一些瑣事, 又帶點樂觀希望, "Nothing Going On" 和 "Full Moon" 虛無, 充滿哲思.......這星期下班, 走路回家時, 我都反覆聽著 , AnneClark 在耳機中送來了沉鬱的節拍, 亦是2008年最愛的節拍 .
